| The NEFT meets every Monday evening at 7 PM from the Monday after Labor Day to the Monday before Memorial day. We meet at the 8 Point Sportsmans Club on Beaman Rd, Sterling MA. Click here for a map
Our mailing address is: Membership dues are $27.00 per year for adults and $14.00 a year for those under 16 years of age. The membership year begins on the first of the month in which dues are paid. The NEFT is one of the most active organizations of its kind. Here is a summary of our activites. * "Favorite Fly" Tying demonstrations by club members. * Business meetings on the last Monday of the month. * Raffle at each meeting. * Coffee at each meeting. * Outing at the Swift River in October. * Free Spaghetti Dinner, first meeting in December. . * Exhibiting at the Fly Fishing Show at the Royal Plaza in Marlboro in early January. * Exhibiting at the Eastern Fishing & Outdoor Exposition at the Centrum in Worcester in early February. * Annual Open House On the Monday after the closing of the show at the Centrum featuring tying demonstrations, free sample fly tying lesson, preview showing of one of the ten lessons of the The NEFT Video Manual of Fly Tying, Silent Auction and Special Raffles and more. * Beginning of the ten lesson Fly Tying Course using both the printed NEFT Manual of Fly Tying and the NEFT Video Manual of Fly Tying starting the Monday following the Open House. * Exhibiting at the World Fly Fishing Show in early March at the Shriner's Auditorium in Wilmington ,MA. * NEFT assists Div.of Fish & Wildlife in early May, stocking trout in selected streams. * The Paul Kukonen Memorial Family Outing at the Barre Falls Dam picnic area in mid May featuring a Fly Casting Clinic, a streamside entomology session and an all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers cookout and other goodies. * Saltwater fishing outing at Joppa Flats, Newburyport, MA in late May (if the tide is right.> *Fishing Outing in June at the Deerfield River, featuring a Steak Dinner at noon at the Power Company picnic area.
