Intalling the Paul Kukonen Memorial Benches

With the holes dug, the bench is positioned and lowered into the holes Ralph Gendron, Barre Falls manager, checks the level.

Left: Ken Hull hopes that Jim Buccino doesn't miss the stake!

Meanwhile, as Jim drives more stakes, Les Walker mixes the concrete that will fill the holes.

The process was repeated for the second bench located on the grassy knoll across from the picnic area

We received this certificate of appreciation from the Army Corps of Engineers

The original measures 8.5" by 11"

Some Shots From the Deerfield Outing
June 2, 2001

Steve Noel spots a good Rainbow and casts. Moments before
he had another good fish on but the fish executed a near perfect LDR.

Brian Magoun is looking for the trout that slipped Steve's hook.
Not long after, it was discovered that Brian had a brain tumor. He was able to attend the Deerfield outing the following year. Brian passed away on the day of our Annual Open House, Monday, February 10th, 2003 at the age of 36. He will be missed.
